Barryvox S is hi-tech avalanche beacon from production of Swiss company Mammut. It is digital - 3 antenas new generation beacon with possibility to switch to analog mode with intuitive user interface and animate instructions. Also automatic switching from search to send in case of secondary avalanche is included. Maximum range in digital mode is 70m and 95m if you use analogue mode. In advantage from easier beacon Barryvox is possibility unmark already marked objects and adjust user interface. The important parameters is alkaline battery life in SEND mode 300 hour and in SEARCH mode 1 hour. Transceiver showing direction, distance and number of buried and can process miltiple signals at once. The Barryvox has function mark/unmark - marking and unmarking the buried.
